How to Make Fried Green Tomatoes

Green Tomatoes
A simple, classic recipe that can be served
as a side to many dishes.
Ingredients:
Green
tomatoes, large, cored and cut into 1/2 inch slices
Flour for dusting
Butter for panfrying, a vegetable oil may be used
Salt and pepper for seasoning
Procedure:
Dust
the slices of green tomatoes with the flour. Add to a frying pan of hot butter.
Panfry to a golden brown on both sides. Remove to platter. Sprinkle with salt
and pepper to taste before serving.
